Vidushi Dr. Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande, the maestro from the Jaipur-Atrauli gharana, is an artist of international acclaim in Hindustani classical, semi-classical and devotional music. Along with classical Khayal, semi classical genres like thumri-dadra, devotional bhajans, marathi abhangs, and Sanskrit hymns/stotras effortlessly blend in her repertoire. In a career spanning over 30 years in teaching, performances, recordings, book publications and YouTube series, she has been the inspiration for the last few generations of musicians for dedication and scholarly pursuit of hindustani music.
Ashwini ji will be accompanied on tabla by
Sanjay Deshpande, and on harmonium by Siddhesh Bicholkar.
