Lavanya Academy of Indian Arts presents Legacy Alive, a tribute to the legendary Kathak maestro Pandit Chitresh Das. This special evening will feature the powerful artistry of his disciples Labonee Mohanta and Anjali Nath, along with the Lavanya Dance Company and Anjali Nath Dance Ensemble. 65 students of Lavanya Academy will perform under the direction of artistic director Labonee Mohanta. The program will include live accompaniment by stellar India-based musicians Praveen Narayan on Tabla and Siripal Singh on Taus. Join us in celebrating a legacy that is very much alive!
